Start ‘Em #2
Well this one is pretty simple. Ryan Mathews is a very talented running back and the Chargers will put him right back in the lineup over rookie standout Branden Oliver. Mathews’ main flaw is the fact that he is very injury prone. It seems like every year he misses significant time with an injury.

On the fantasy side of things, owners probably didn’t wait all this time (7 weeks) for him to return, but those who were lucky enough to stash him or add him off the waiver wire, this is your week to show your savviness.
Mathews will likely see 20 or so touches Sunday against the worst team in the NFL, the Oakland Raiders (in Chris Berman’s voice).
The Raiders are awful and the Chargers should be able to get up early and give the ball to Mathews in the second half for some significant garbage time points.
This week it is finally time for owners to see some production from this relatively high fantasy draft choice. Get him in your lineup.
Consider him a #2 RB in Week 11.
