Week 7 Projection: Standard: 12/PPR: 14. RB. Jacksonville Jaguars. Denard Robinson. 5. player. 52

Denard Robinson has taken over for Toby Gerhart in the Jaguars offense because of his immense struggles. Gerhart has completely scrapped his first opportunity at being a starting running back, only gaining 123 yards in five starts before getting injured and missing a few weeks.

The Bengals are a good defense overall, but are ranked 25th against running backs in terms of fantasy points allowed.

Robinson has since taken over the job and produced at a much higher level. In just two starts, he has put up 235 yards, eclipsing the century mark in both games. His second start, last week, Gerhart returned from his injury and only got 4 carries for 10 yards.

Denard has obviously stolen the starting job.

This immediately makes him valuable with the title of being a starter, and he can and should be in lineups every week. This includes Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals are a good defense overall, but are ranked 25th against running backs in terms of fantasy points allowed. I see Robinson continuing to get a lot of carries to balance the offense with rookie quarterback Blake Bortles at the helm of the offense.

Look for Robinson to continue his success in Week 9.

Consider him a pretty solid #2 RB until he proves otherwise and a great flex option in all leagues.
