Kansas State Football has a chance to make some real noise in 2018. There are some big games the Wildcats must perform well in to compete in the Big 12.

Bill Snyder has won plenty of big games while coaching Kansas State Football. From his wins against Nebraska in the 90’s to upsets against powerhouse Oklahoma. The Wildcats always have the potential to bring a huge upset every single season.

Unlike in years past, the Wildcats have started scheduling tougher non-conference opponents. This is due not only to new league requirements but to enhance the Wildcats brand of Kansas State Football.

Mississippi State is on the schedule this season, which is a far cry from the teams that coach Snyder used to schedule like your William and Mary’s of the collegiate world.

Contrary to popular belief, the Big 12 is full of quality teams that have a chance at ruining your playoff hopes in a single weekend. Almost every game can be considered a tough matchup. Unless that game is against the Jayhawks. Unless you are Texas.

The Kansas State Wildcats have a good chance at returning to the Big 12 Championship game this season. They aren’t having to go through the mass restructuring of their roster that many of the Big 12 teams are having to do this season. The Wildcats go through the 2018 gauntlet in just over a month.

Along their way, they will face some unfamiliar foes as well as some they know all too well. These are the toughest games on the Wildcats schedule this season.
