KC Chiefs news consists of the AFC playoffs and about which Chiefs made it onto the Associated Press All-Pro team. One member was a unanimous selection. It sure is an exciting time to be a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs!

I’m not sure if you know, but the Kansas City Chiefs made it into the playoffs for the second consecutive year. That’s the first time that’s happened since the Marty Schottenheimer era, which is insane to think about.

The Chiefs don’t play their first playoff game until next weekend, as they have the two-seed and get a first-round bye as a reward. They’ll likely be hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers, but we won’t know for sure until the conclusion of the Steelers/Dolphins game on Sunday afternoon.

In other news, four members of this KC Chiefs team made it onto the AP All-Pro team. That’s a huge honor and shows that this is one of the most complete teams in the entire league.

The four guys who made First-Team All-Pro were Eric Berry, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Marcus Peters while Mitchell Schwartz was named to the Second-Team All-Pro squad. Still quite the honor and what a free agent signing he’s been for this team in 2016!

The Kansas City Chiefs are in prime position for a deep run in the playoffs, but it won’t be easy. Should the Steelers win on Sunday, that’s who will be traveling to Arrowhead Stadium, and we all remember how the match-up earlier this season went for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs can’t bank on having the easier path anyway. Not if they want to get to the Super Bowl, that is. It’s time to face the toughest possible path and that way once they make it to the Super Bowl, it won’t seem so difficult to win the biggest game in the sport.

We’re in for a fun ride, Chiefs Kingdom.
