The Kansas City Chiefs won a thriller in Atlanta this week. With a game that was so close, you know the takes were out of this world.

I don’t know how any of us will survive this Kansas City Chiefs season without having a heart attack. The Chiefs pulled off yet another thrilling victory this past week against the Atlanta Falcons. It was a bit of a back and forth game that would come down to the wire. That means there were tons of hot takes to choose from this week.

For those of you who don’t know, a “hot take” is a large generalization or overreaction based on limited information.  Sports are one of the preeminent targets for hot takes, and the NFL especially.  Fans, analysts, and media talking heads can’t wait to weigh in on the big topics.  That, of course, leads to an awful lot of bad opinions being thrown across the internet.

Yes, you see them everywhere.  A big name player signs with a team, and suddenly they are Super Bowl favorites.  A quarterback throws an interception, and now he’s the worst to ever play the game.  Defense gives up a touchdown?  They can’t stop anybody.
