Kansas City Chiefs: Halfway Mark of 2016 Season
The Kansas City Chiefs have played eight games so far in the 2016 regular season, which means they are halfway through the season. How have they looked so far?
Eight games down, eight games to go for the KC Chiefs so far in the 2016 season! The Chiefs are in a good position at the moment, sitting at 6-2 and 2-0 in the AFC West.
While the Chiefs have had success to this point in the season, they still have eight games left and we all know that a lot can happen in those eight games.
Let’s take a look at some notes from the season thus far.
Team is banged up, but surviving
If last week’s game against Jacksonville didn’t display how beat up this Chiefs team is, then I don’t know what else to tell you.
Somehow last week in a game where the starting quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, left guard, and several playmakers on defense were out due to injury, this Chiefs team persevered.
That shows how deep this team is, but that can’t last forever. The Chiefs need to have some of their key playmakers back (i.e. Justin Houston) in order to strongly contend for the division title.
