The Kansas City Chiefs head into week three of the preseason against the Chicago Bears.  With the starters getting the most playing time of the preseason this week, here are five things to keep an eye on.

HAPPY RED FRIDAY KANSAS CITY CHIEFS FANS!!!  Yes, it is still just the preseason.  No, I don’t care.  The Kansas City Chiefs are back on the field this Saturday taking on the Chicago Bears.  We are coming down to the wire for preseason football, which means real, no kidding, football is just around the corner.

The third preseason game also means that roster cuts are looming.  In fact, the Chiefs have already gotten a head start on that as wide receiver Mike Williams and safety Stevie Brown were both let go this past week.  Neither move is really all that surprising, though it was a little strange that the moves would happen before the game on Saturday.

There is some excitement in Kansas City this week as both Jamaal Charles and Tamba Hali are now back on the practice field.  Most pundits seem to believe that Eric Berry isn’t far behind those two.  However, none of those star players are expected to see any playing time in the preseason.  Not to worry though, as all three players were expected to miss preseason action.

The Kansas City Chiefs will continue to fine tune the roster and game plan this Saturday as they travel to “The Windy City”.  The third preseason game tends to be when coaches leave their starters in the longest.  All indications from the Chiefs is that Andy Reid intends to continue that trend this preseason.  So here are five things for Chiefs fans to keep their eyes on this week.
