Before the 2015 season, the KC Chiefs were not known for their wide receivers being much of a threat. Who are the toughest receivers they’ll face this year?

The Kansas City Chiefs play in a division where they have to face wide receivers like Keenan Allen, Amari Cooper, and Demaryius Thomas twice a year. They’ve been able to hold these guys back a bit in the past few years, but what about this upcoming year? Who are the toughest wide receivers the Chiefs will square off against in 2016?

While there are easily more than five tough receivers that the Chiefs will see in 2016, I came up with the five toughest and the results may or may not shock you.

Forewarning – I didn’t include any of the AFC West players on this list. Demaryius Thomas is the only one I considered putting on there, but there were just too many other great receivers that the Chiefs don’t play as often and therefore, don’t know his capabilities.

Let’s take a look at the toughest receivers the KC Chiefs will matchup with in 2016.
