The KC Royals have been winning more ball games lately, and there have been several players who have come as a surprise in the team’s recent success.

Despite a 22-20 record, the Kansas City Royals haven’t had the exact type of success that fans had hoped for following their World Series title last season. They experienced a two-week slump, in which they lost five straight series and couldn’t do a thing on the plate.

Now, however, the KC Royals have won three consecutive series and look to be turning things around from that terrible two-week slump.

The Royals have seen some guys step up tremendously for the team, and some have come as quite a surprise. Who have been the five biggest surprises so far in 2016?
