The Kansas Jayhawks basketball team will look to avoid it’s first three-game road losing streak in 12 years.

The Jayhawks have beat TCU in their last seven match-ups. They’ll need to continue that streak if they want to snap their skid on the road.

In 12 home games this season the Jayhawks have dominated their opponents winning by more than 20 points on average. Outside the friendly confines of Allen Fieldhouse they’ve lost three straight by nearly 15 points per contest.

This game should be a layup for the Jayhawks as TCU is has only won one game in the conference this season. They’ve only beat the Jayhawks once and that came back in 2013.

While this game seems insignificant to the Jayhawks, if they lose they’ll have some bigger questions to try and answer.

The KU basketball team is one of the highest scoring, best shooting teams in the country. They are 13th in the nation in scoring at 83.7 points a game, and 14th in shooting percentage, at 48.7 percent.

On paper, this is a big mismatch, and the Jayhawks are coming off a big win against Kansas State. Bill Self was less than pleased with the teams performance in that game. He was quoted saying:

"“I’ll be candid,” Self said, “they outplayed us. They beat us to loose balls, they outhustled us. … That’s about as soft as I can remember one of our teams playing.”"

Self was also upset with guard Brannen Green following the game against the Wildcats. With the game well out of hand, Green went up for a dunk that Self described as “classless”:

"“Brannen Greene, we’ve put up with him doing some stuff in the past, but that was probably the biggest d— move I’ve ever had a player do during a game,” Self said in the radio interview, according to the Topeka newspaper. “To dunk the ball like that when the other team — even their players are going, ‘How disrespectful to the game.’"
