The Kansas City Chiefs’ season came to an end on Saturday when they lost to the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Round by a score of 27-20.

It was a season to remember for the KC Chiefs, who at one point were sitting at 1-5 and looking like a sure thing to be a top five pick in the draft. Instead, the Chiefs rallied and won their last ten regular season games to earn a spot in the playoffs.

Not only did the Chiefs make it to the playoffs, but they also won a playoff game for the first time since the 1993 season. That in itself is something for this team to be proud of.

Sure, the goal of every team in the NFL is to win the Super Bowl, but a team can’t win the Super Bowl if they haven’t experienced success in the postseason. No one was expecting the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl before the season began, but I think that will change next season.

Now that this team has finally gotten that playoff monkey off their back, they can focus on the ultimate goal – Winning the Super Bowl in the 2016 season.

Let’s take a look at the defining moments of this 2015 season and the legacy it will leave behind.
