The KC Chiefs notched their sixth straight win on Sunday, defeating AFC West rival Oakland by a score of 34-20.

How ’bout them Chiefs?

While they got off to a 1-5 start in what appeared to be a lackluster season, the Kansas City Chiefs have gone on to win six consecutive games and are now 7-5 and sitting in the first Wildcard spot in the playoffs. Who’d have thought this would be the case after that dreadful 1-5 start?

This was a great game for Kansas City. It wasn’t pretty, but it was still a great game, as in it showed the Chiefs have a lot of fight in them. It truly was a TEAM win, which is huge in this league, as it seems these days a lot of teams scrap out wins due to their quarterback.

They turned the ball over twice, but were able to force some Raider turnovers and ended up putting 34 points on the board. This was the sixth straight game that KC put up over 20 points, which just shows that when this offense is on point, this team is scary.

With all of that said, let’s take a look at the week 13 report card for the KC Chiefs’ (7-5) game against the Oakland Raiders (5-7).

WR. Kansas City Chiefs. JEREMY MACLIN. A.

For the second week in a row, Jeremy Maclin wins MVP for the Kansas City Chiefs. Of course, last week Maclin had 158 yards, and he followed that up with a beastly performance in the Black Hole.

Maclin finished the day with nine receptions for 95 yards and two touchdowns. He now has five touchdowns on the year and close to 900 receiving yards.

While Maclin did lose a fumble in this game, it was the first time he’d lost the ball since the 2012 season. It was a big mistake, but he went on to have a hell of a day in yet another victory. I’d say Maclin’s been worth the money the Chiefs gave him during the off season.

What Jeremy Maclin gives the KC Chiefs is a reliable target for Alex Smith. Smith had thrown his first six completed passes at Maclin, and the two’s chemistry is building as the season goes on. You can tell that Smith loves having Maclin out there, and that Maclin loves being apart of this team.

Did you see him all fired up after scoring the second touchdown? Pretty cool to see.
