The KC Royals are ready for Game 3 of the ALCS in Toronto against the Blue Jays. The Royals currently hold a 2-o series lead.

This game in Toronto is crucial. Sure, it’s a seven game series, but the Royals can’t let the Blue Jays get back into the thick of things. They need to finish the Jays off early and clinch their second consecutive World Series appearance sooner rather than later.

Here are five keys to winning Game 3 for the Royals.

5) Take the crowd out of it early on

Toronto hasn’t been in the playoffs since 1993 and their fans are as excited about their Blue Jays this year as Royals fans were about their team last year.

It’s that reason alone that the Kansas City Royals need to strike first in Game 3. They need to get multiple runs on the board and take the fans out of the game.

It’ll be rocking in the Rogers Centre, but if the Royals can get some runs early off of Marcus Stroman, then the fans won’t be as interested and the Royals can keep momentum on their side.
