All any KC Royals fans are talking about lately is the MLB Trade Deadline and any Royals rumors that might come with it. Should the Royals trade for a starting pitcher, or a bat? It’s the hot debate in Kansas City right now amongst Kansas City Royals fans.

The KC Royals sit 19 games over .500. Two days ago they were 21 games over .500 for the first time since 1989. They’re leading the American League Central by five and a half games. They’ve proven time and time again this season that they’re one of the, if not the, best teams in all of baseball.

All of the reasons above are why I’m an advocate for the KC Royals not doing anything massive at the trade deadline.

Now I know I’m going to get so much crap for this article, and that’s fine. This is all just my opinion and obviously I have no official ties with the team so don’t worry guys. I’m not saying the Royals WON’T trade for a big name in the arm or bat department, I’m just saying that I’m content with them not doing so.
