The KC Chiefs whittled down their quarterbacks when they released Terrelle Pryor on Tuesday. Pryor is the player the team had the least time invested so his release made sense.
If their draft was any indication the KC Chiefs look to be trying to add some depth and youth to the defense. They really addressed their issues in the secondary and at the linebacker positions.
Was Mitch Morse a good pick for the Chiefs in the the second round, or was it a bit of a stretch?
What is with the Chiefs’ schedule? Not only do the Chiefs have to give up one of their home games in order play in London, but they are home only twice in the first six weeks of the season, and after the October 25th game against Pittsburgh, Kansas City doesn’t play in Arrowhead again until November 29th. From Brandon Fry on Arrowhead Addict – Kansas City Chiefs Could Be Building A Special Defense
"John Dorsey saw what Chiefs fans saw last year:…the defense lacked production in turnovers (ranked 31st in the league) and stopping the run, so he spent five of nine draft picks on defense. Dorsey is making an effort to change the makeup of this team and instill a killer instinct that this team lacked last year."

Khaled Abdallah from NFL Spin Zone ponders: Why Release Terrelle Pryor?
"This could be a sign that general manager John Dorsey is more confident in Murray then we may think. It is still a mystery to me as to why Terrelle Pryor is having such a hard time finding a home in this league. It makes sense that the Oakland Raiders would cut him after he was a starter there and likely did not want to accept a backup role."

Adam Teicher on ESPN is baffled about the Chiefs’ schedule: Chiefs’ Schedule Still Makes Little Sense
"Make no mistake that this also doesn’t please the Chiefs, who would rather play at Arrowhead early in the season rather than late. But this season, the Chiefs play only three games at Arrowhead before Thanksgiving."
Arrowhead Pride tries to predict who will make the KC Chiefs roster – Kansas City Chiefs 2015 Roster Prediction: Way Too Early Edition
"Every year, there’s a surprise veteran or two cut before the season, and every year an UDFA or two makes the team. And we all know that Dorsey loves to work the waiver wire at roster cut down time."
