Preseason Game 1

More from KC Kingdom

Kansas City Chiefs at Arizona Cardinals

In the first game of the 2015 NFL Preseason the KC Chiefs will face the Arizona Cardinals at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

The KC Chiefs faced the Cardinals in Arizona on December 7th in week 14 of the 2014 NFL season. The game was close, but the Chiefs were defeated by the cardinals with a final score of 17-14.

Jamaal Charles and Travis Kelce were the biggest producers for the Chiefs on offense. Charles finished with ten carries, 91 yards, and one touchdown. Kelce had seven receptions, 110 yards, and no touchdowns.

Preseason Game 2

Seattle Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs

In the second game of the 2015 NFL Preseason the Seattle Seahawks will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face the KC Chiefs.

The KC Chiefs faced the Seattle Seahawks on November 16th in a week 11 win at Arrowhead. Jamaal Charles was the top performer for the Chiefs and powered them to a 24-20 victory over the defending Super Bowl champions.

Charles finished with 20 carries, 159 yards, and two touchdowns. Alex Smith had a very quiet game with 11/16 passes completed, 108 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions. Russel Wilson played well for the Seahawks finishing with 20/32 passes completed, 178 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.

The win against the Seahawks in the 2014 season may have been the high point of the season for the Chiefs because following they victory they lost three in a row to the Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos, and Arizona Cardinals.

Preseason Game 3

Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs

In the third game of the 2015 NFL Preseason the KC Chiefs will play their second and final preseason game at Arrowhead against the Tennessee Titans.

The KC Chiefs faced the Titans at Arrowhead on September 7th in the first game of the 2014 season. If the game against the Seahawks was the high point of the season, the game against the Titans to open the season may have been the low point.

Not only did the Chiefs lose to the Titans 26-10, but both linebacker Derrick Johnson and defensive lineman Mike DeVito ruptured their right Achilles tendon’s ending both of their seasons.

Alex Smith also had his worst game of the season finishing with 19/35 passes completed, 202 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. Jake Locker lead the Titans with 22/33 passes completed, 266 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions.

The Titans only won one more game the remainder of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Chiefs looked back on the loss and thought what might have been after they just missed out on the playoffs.
