THE VITALS:

The last preseason game of the year really can’t be over quick enough. A few position battles are yet to be worked out, so if you are a huge fan, and want to watch the Kansas City Chiefs live stream to see how those battles play out on the field, jump on NFL.com for all the action.

Usually, there is very little reason to watch the last preseason game, but this year, there are so many question marks with the Chiefs’ roster that this last game has some things worth watching. Make no doubt about it though, we are ready for the regular season to start.

THREE KEYS

1

Back-up Quarterbacks

QB, Kansas City Chiefs

It is almost certain the Chiefs won’t be able to carry four quarterbacks. Although the Chiefs could use his salary in other places, Chase Daniel will most certainly make the team as the second string signal caller.

The battle for the third spot will boil down to who the Chiefs think has a bigger upside – Aaron Murray or Tyler Bray. Just this situation makes this game an intriguing one.

2

Wide Receivers

WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Dwayne Bowe and Donnie Avery may be the only locks on the roster. A.J. Jenkins, of whom we’ve seen very little this preseason, is probably going to make it as well. That leaves the final two or three spots up for grabs.

Albert Wilson, Junior Hemingway, Kyle Williams, Mark Harrison, Fred Williams, and Frankie Hammond have to impress Thursday night, both receiving and on special teams.

3

Injuries

All, Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs need to avoid injuries at all costs to their top players, who shouldn’t ever see the field, and to the best second tier players. The Chiefs do not look to be the deepest team ever assembled, especially in the secondary, along the offensive line, and the wide receivers corps.

Let the players trying to win roster spots play as much as possible and keep the known factors on the sidelines.
