The 2014 NFL season is rapidly approaching and Kansas City Chiefs fans are stoked to see their team take the field a week from Thursday against the Bengals. With that said, Chiefs fans are also eager to watch the newest Chiefs players earn their stripes and see what they’re capable of.

A few months ago, the Chiefs took six guys in the 2014 NFL Draft: four on offense and two on defense. Some of these guys will likely be thrown into the lineup right away and others might serve as backups, or may never see any playing time in their first year.

Regardless of what happens though, these guys need to put their best foot forward in order to make an impact. Kansas City is playing the 7th toughest schedule in the NFL and will need everyone to step their game up and play their hardest.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at the rookies and their potential roles for the 2014 season. To navigate the slideshow, simply click “NEXT” on your screen or use the arrows on your keyboard.
