Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali has made this year’s NFL Top 100 Players countdown at number 43. Hali is the fourth of five total Chiefs to crack the top 100, and I think many would agree that his appearance on the countdown is well deserved.

Hali was left off of the countdown last year, but was able to make it back to the top half after an impressive 2013 season. With 11 sacks under his belt last season, Hali proved that he’s still a force to be reckoned with on the field. He also managed five forced fumbles (two of which he recovered and one that he took back for a touchdown) and one interception that went for a touchdown.
Uber athletic DE with constant production over a long career. Hali's been an elite defensive force year after year after… #NFLTop100

I mentioned above that Hali is the fourth Kansas City Chief to make an appearance in the top 100. Other Chiefs voted to the countdown were Derrick Johnson at number 64, Justin Houston at number 57, and Eric Berry at number 50.
Seeing that all four Chiefs players to make the countdown at the moment are all defensive players shows that this team has potential for 2014. Yes, things went downhill in the later half of 2013, but with the previously mentioned guys along with Brandon Flowers, Dontari Poe, and newcomer Dee Ford, opposing offenses should be worried.
One spot is left as far as Chiefs players are concerned. My guess is that Jamaal Charles will take the last spot for Kansas City.
