People in Kansas City are still trying to digest the affect the draft will have on the Chiefs. Ben Nielsen at Arrowhead Addict looks at the offensive line:
The narrative surrounding the Chiefs’ offensive line has gotten a little too far away from the reality of the situation. Yes, there are concerns, but there are some positives along the line that have been boosted by the developments from the draft. These positive notes should push feelings about the offensive line towards neutral as opposed to panic.
Ben also reports that Jamaal Charles has made the round of 8 in the Madden 2015 cover contest. Make sure to head over there and click the link to vote for him.
While the Royals are a mediocre 20-20 at the quarter pole of the season, some things are going right. David Hill at Kings of Kauffman looks at the job Wade Davis is doing as the primary set-up man:
Now, as the Kansas City Royals primary eighth inning option, Wade Davis has been nothing short of extraordinary. While his 2.08 ERA and 1.038 WHiP are certainly excellent, where Davis has truly stood out has been in his ability to generate strikeouts. Thus far, Davis has struck out an astronomical 32 batters in 17.1 innings of work, the equivalent of 16.6 strikeouts per nine innings.
Gary Bedore over at KU Sports.com reports that Ukrainian sensation Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk will be making a recruiting trip to the University of Kansas this weekend.
