A.J. Jenkins is the topic of discussion on Arrowhead Pride as Matt Conner wonders if maybe Jenkins might develop with more of an opportunity.
Andy Reid has been consistently positive about Jenkins potential going forward. Jenkins finished this season with only 8 catches for 130 yards in his first season with the team. This comes after zero catches in his rookie season with the 49ers.
Let’s take a deep breath, and realize that every guy in every bullpen is in that bullpen for a reason. He is not good enough to start or close games. Expecting a lights out, automatic set up man and closer is expecting quite a bit.

Danny Manning is moving up to the ACC, taking a job at Wake Forest, not far from where he grew up. Danny Manning led Tulsa to the NCAA Tournament this year.
Fun fact, Wake Forest’s basketball venue is called the Lawrence Joel Arena. I like that!
