MLB 2014 Predictions: AL Central – Who Can Catch The Detroit Tigers

Predicting the AL Central division seems a relatively easy task if you are just picking the winner. While that is not absolutely cut and dried, there is still one team that seems to stand out from the crowd.
Picking the order for the rest of the division is a bit harder. Two team are clearly in full rebuild mold, while two others are fighting for respect, and a place in the playoffs.
Not all the teams have star players, but most have a number of up-and-comers that could really make a difference. If one or two teams are as bad as it looks like they could be, winning consistently against these teams will be the key toward winning the division, or winning enough games to challenge for a wild card spot.
2014 should be an exciting season in the AL Central, so let’s get on with the predictions!
