Inactives: Albert, Fasano, and Houston Out Against Washington

Injuries have forced starters Justin Houston, Branden Albert, and Anthony Fasano out of the lineup this week against Washington. Albert is out with a knee injury he suffered against Denver, while Fasano is dealing with a concussion.

Houston is missing his second straight game with an elbow injury.

Kansas City will have defensive end Mike DeVito and offensive linemen Eric Fisher and Jon Asamoah healthy and active for Sunday. All three had spent time on the injury list this week.

KC’s opponent will be missing a few key pieces of their own, including safety Brandon Meriweather and tight end Jordan Reed. Washington is already one of the worst defenses in the league against the pass so the loss of Meriweather is a big blow.

Young tight end Reed is one of Washington’s bright spots on offense and was having a breakout season before suffering a concussion a month ago. This is the third straight game his has missed.
