Inactives: Hali, DeVito, Asamoah, and Fisher Active; Julius Thomas is Out

Injuries have played a huge role in the discussion about this week’s rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, and it looks like the Chiefs are going to come into the game a little bit healthier than Denver.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Julius Thomas, and Derek Wolfe are all inactive for Broncos after being listed as questionable for most of the week. Denver will return cornerback Champ Bailey this week, and Knowshon Moreno and Wes Welker have each been cleared to play as well.

Other inactives for Denver include C.J. Anderson, Chris Clark, Zac Dysert, Chris Kuper, and J.D. Walton.

Tamba Hali, Mike DeVito, Eric Fisher, and Jon Asamoah will all be active, while Justin Houston is out. Hali, Fisher, Asamoah, and DeVito were all considered questionable this week. It is anticipated that Houston will miss two or three weeks with his elbow injury.

How active Hali and DeVito will be is unknown. Kansas City had a tough time getting pressure on Manning in Denver with a healthy Hali, Houston, and DeVito, so how well will the Chiefs be able to get pressure with a hobbled Hali and DeVito and Houston being out?

While Fisher and Asamoah are each active for the Chiefs, Donald Stephenson and Geoff Schwartz will each start in their place.

KC’s other inactives are Tyler Bray, Nico Johnson, Rishaw Johnson, Eric Kush, Kyle Love and Rokevious Watkins.
