Is Andy Reid Twerking With Philip Rivers?

Well this is interesting.

Andy Reid was attempting to have a private conversation with an official, but Philip Rivers wanted to join in, too. Reid’s counter appears to be to start twerking on Rivers. Rivers was immediately ejected from the conversation.

Some may argue Reid was boxing Rivers out, which I disagree with. There was clearly some giggle there from Reid. But if it is a box-out, it was excellent form from Reid and totally would have earned him the rebound. Bill Self would have been impressed with his technique.

What we’ve learned here is that Andy Reid is not going to let Philip Rivers get in the way of a personal conversation with an official. This is his sideline and only those who Reid allows to be over there will be on that sideline.

Also, given Rivers’ history of arguing with officials, one has to wonder if other teams will employ these kind of tactics against San Diego? Cincinnati better be taking notes for next week. I expect Terrance Newman to be backing that thang up into Rivers in similar situations next week in San Diego.

Truly, Andy Reid is an innovator in the game of football.

He’s also way better than Miley Cyrus at twerking.
