MOTIVATIONAL VIDEO

THREE 2 WATCH

1. Line of Scrimmage

Mike DeVito is out with an injury, Jon Asamoah is banged up, and Eric Fisher is doubtful with a shoulder. Winning the line of scrimmage could be an issue for the Chiefs on Sunday.

2. Jamaal Charles

It is supposed to be around negative-49 degrees on Sunday (approximately). Seems like good running weather, don’t you agree, Jamaal?

3. Marcus Cooper

Manning attacked Cooper to a fault last week, and Philip Rivers may do it, too. Cooper needs a big bounce back game to get himself right for the Denver re-match.

TAILGATE BEER OF THE WEEK

Hot chocolate spiked with Captain Morgan. No, that’s not beer. But you’re going to be glad you went with this given how freaking cold it is going to be.

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS

1. Philip Rivers

Rivers is having himself a nice bounce back season this year. He’s thrown for nearly 3,000 yards, has 19 touchdowns, a quarterback rating of 104.4, and a QBR of 70.3. That’s not bad given the few weapons he has to work with.

2. Pass Defense

San Diego is 27th in the NFL in defending the pass, allowing 275.5 yards per game. Given the weather conditions, it’ll be interesting to see how KC decides to attack the Chargers’ secondary.

3. Slump

San Diego has lost three-straight since their bye week with losses to Washington, Denver, and Miami.

Should be interesting to see if the Chiefs can pull off a win against SD this weekend. This one could go either way, but I give a slim edge (very slim) to the Chiefs, only because it’s at Arrowhead.
