History: Chiefs lead series 56-49

Weather: 41-degrees at kickoff with clear skies

1. Dontari Poe

Defensively, he’s the key to the game. He’s going to be the primary guy on containing the running game and getting Peyton Manning on the move. Get Manning on the move and the Chiefs should be able to slow down Denver’s offense.

2. Jamaal Charles

Charles has been incredibly productive this season, but he hasn’t had that monster game yet this season. A huge game from him would go a long way towards helping Kansas City pulling this out.

3. Marcus Cooper

He fits the profile of a young rookie in a big game who Manning likes to attack early and often. Cooper has to be ready for the challenge because it is coming.

Tank 7, Tank 7, Tank 7 and more Tank 7.

1. Manny Ramirez

Denver’s center has been one of the best in football so far this season, but he has yet to face the kind of force that Poe has been though 10 weeks. The Poe-Ramirez matchup could be the determining factor of this game.

2. Knowshon Moreno

A good way to keep Manning upright if for Moreno to have a big day on the ground. KC will give up big plays in the run game from time to time.

3. Von Miller

Miller has been a game-changer for the Broncos defense since his return from suspension. Expect a lot of matchups between Miller and rookie Eric Fisher throughout the game.
