Keys To The Game for the Chiefs:
1 – RATTLE THE QUARTERBACKS: It looks as if Thad Lewis is not going to play due to a rib injury. The Bills are left with Jeff Tuel and Matt Flynn. Surely, if the pass rushers can apply some pressure, they can cause some mistakes. Even if Lewis ends up playing, he has shown a tendency to cough the ball up. Look for the Chiefs to go after the quarterback, whomever it may be, even more aggressively than usual.
2 – FINDING DWAYNE BOWE – Alex Smith and the Chiefs will continue to try to get Dwayne Bowe the ball more often, This has been an issue all season, and Kansas City must get this play maker involved in the offense. As fans watch the offense perform just well enough to win without being very impressive, the hope is that the Chiefs can rediscover Bowe and his skill set, and improvement is imminent.
3 – NO LET DOWN – This is what some may call a trap game. The Chiefs are on quite a roll with their 8 wins to start off the 2013 season but they cannot afford to over look the Bills in Buffalo. With a bye week next week, plus the Denver Broncos looming right after the break, the Chiefs must stay focused and take of business against the Bills on the road.
