The Kansas City Chiefs (8-0) jumped out to a 13-0 lead early on the Cleveland Browns (3-5), then held on for a 23-17 win in Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs looked good for most of the first half and not very good for a bulk of the second but still came away the victory, and they remain the only undefeated team left in the NFL.

It wasn’t a pretty win but a win none the less. The pretty ones don’t count for any more than the ugly ones, thank goodness! Say what you will about their schedule but the Chiefs have still gone out and beat each team as they have appeared on the schedule. That is all they can do.

If not for playing somewhat smart and having no turnovers I can’t see giving that offense any more than a D today

The third down conversion has steadily improved, and it’s always good to control time of possession

A huge Reid fan, but these last two games there have been several “lapses”. The defense, Sutton Death, seems very slow to make adjustments, in two games it seems like they are in a zone defense for years. On offense, after half adjustments are awful. No idea what is going on with the offense in the locker room but thinking/changing/adjusting seems AWOL (at least for the last two games).

Another super impressive win by the Chiefs over a losing team led by some random QB they pulled off the street.

Aw, just teasing… a win is a win. But the future sure looks scary.
