CBSSports.com insider Jason La Canfora reported Saturday, via twitter, that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe would play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Chiefs top WR Dwayne Bowe, who missed practice with a groin injury and listed as questionable, will play Sunday vs. Browns

This is great news for the Chiefs, who have struggled with their passing game this season and could ill afford not having Bowe in the line up against the Browns.
Bowe has struggled to be relevant in the Chiefs new offense this season, accumulating only 25 receptions for 295 yards thus far. He only has two touchdowns so far in 2013.
Kansas City would have had a very hard time replacing Bowe, despite his lack of production, as there is a big drop off in talent after Donnie Avery, the other Chiefs starter at wide receiver, and Dexter McCluster, the number three receiver on this team.
The Chiefs, who are on a mission to go 8-0 this season for only the second time in franchise history (2003), have to be happy with this news. The Cleveland Browns have a nice defense themselves, ranked 6th against the pass, allowing just 220 yards a game in2103. The Chiefs will need all hands on deck if they hope to beat a tough Browns squad.
The Chiefs, who are the only undefeated team in the NFL, are still trying to prove how good they are. Their weak offense, and even weaker early season schedule, haven’t convinced everyone that they are the best team in the league, despite their record. All the Chiefs can do is beat the next team on the schedule each week. While the Chiefs have won mostly with their awesome defense, they still have one the best running backs in the league in Jamaal Charles on offense, as well as Bowe and Alex Smith.
This is great news for the Chiefs, and should help them win their 8th straight game of the season.
