The Missouri Tigers (7-0, 3-0) defeated the Florida Gators (4-3, 3-2) 36-17 on Saturday in Columbia, Missouri.


Another Big Win: The Missouri Tigers are now 7-0, winning all of their games by 15 or more points. The Tigers, in their second SEC season, is starting to catch the attention of everyone in the college game.

The Offense: The Missouri offense put up 500 yards total offense on a well respected defense. The Tigers amassed 205 yards on the ground and another 295 through the air. The Gators were fourth in the country in points allowed with just 13 a game. The Tigers tallied nearly three times that total.

The Receivers: The receiving corps averaged 16.4 yards a reception. Marcus Lucas caught 6 passes for 57 yards. L’Damian Washington caught 3 balls for 84 yards.

The Defense: The Missouri defense was absolutely awesome, holding the Gators to just 151 totals yards. They will equally effective against the run, giving up 59 yards, as they were against the pass. The Tigers gave up only 92 total yards through the air.

The Unis: Those yellow and black uniforms looked pretty sharp. Very distinct. Missouri has a winner with those.
