Kansas City Chiefs Inactives

For the first time this season seemingly, the Kansas City Chiefs are at full strength heading into their game this afternoon against the Houston Texans.

This means Anthony Fasano, who has been out since week two, and Kendrick Lewis, who missed much of practice this week with an injury, will be available today for the Chiefs.

The return of Fasano could be huge for the Chiefs passing game, especially in the red zone. Alex Smith has lacked a big target in the middle of field to check down to, which has made it harder for the Chiefs to move the ball downfield. Having Fasano in the middle of the field will allow for better matchups with Dwayne Bowe and Jamaal Charles in the flat.

Matt Schaub, Cierre Wood, Tim Dobbins, Willie Jefferson, Andrew Gardner, Cody White and Sam Montgomery are out for Houston. Schaub is obviously the big name here as he is being replaced by Case Keenum this week. Schuab injured his leg last week against St. Louis.

Not noted is Houston’s loss of safety Daniel Manning, who was placed on injured reserve this week. D.J. Swearinger will replace him.
