KANSAS STATE (2-4, 0-3) 25, BAYLOR BEARS (5-0, 2-0) 35

The Baylor Bears look to be the best all around Big 12 team thus far in the 2013 season, and this was their first road test. The Kansas State Wildcats did not allow the Bears’  high powered offense to score the 70 they had been averaging over their first 4 games. Neither could Kansas State stop them completely.

The Wildcats were also missing some of their most dangerous weapons on offense and that limited the team’s options and production. Still, Kansas State was in the lead going into the fourth quarter, and still had a shot to win the game until the last couple minutes of the contest.  In fact, Baylor only out gained Kansas State by one total yard.

Kansas State has been competitive in each and every game but have not been rewarded with many wins. Hopefully, the victories will start falling the Wildcats way.
