Keys To The Game for the Chiefs:
- Justin Houston: There still is some doubt about Houston’s availability Sunday. If he cannot play due to a concussion, more than likely Frank Zombo will see a bulk of the stats. The Chiefs needs to find a way to apply pressure to Terrell Pryor. If Kansas City can disrupt Pryor’s comfort level, he may be more prone to make a mistake. It will be easier to do that if Houston is in the line up.
- Jamaal Charles‘ Feet: Hopefully, Charles’ won’t have any residual effects from of the blister issues he has had with his feet. It has to be very uncomfortable to run like he does with blisters. The Raiders have been effective against the run this season, ranking 11th in fewest rushing yards allowed, so the Chiefs desperately need Charles in an offense that has been mediocre thus far.
- Dwayne Bowe: Bowe just hasn’t had a breakout game as of yet. There is little doubt the the Chiefs would be a better offensive team with more of a contribution from Bowe. Alex Smith and Andy Reid have got to finds ways to get the ball in his hands. He is a big target and a play maker so it has been puzzling as to why he hasn’t been a bigger contributor thus far.
