Keys To The Game for the Chiefs:
- Contain Ryan Fitzpatrick: No seriously. As a Buffalo Bill, Fitzpatrick went 4-1 against the Chiefs with a 86.7 quarterback rating. He had 8 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions. He can not be allowed to get comfortable in the pocket. Hopefully, this edition of the Chiefs defense can apply enough pressure to force Fitzpatrick into mistakes.
- Contain Chris Johnson: Although Johnson hasn’t been as effective running the ball as effectively this season as he has in the past, he is still one of the most dangerous runners in open spaces in the league. Dontari Poe, Mike DeVito, and Tyson Jackson must keep the middle plugged and Tamba Hali and Justin Houston must keep containment on the outside. If Johnson has a poor day, and the Titans have to pass a lot to move the ball, the Chiefs have a great chance to win this game.
- Get Jamaal Charles On Track Before The Fourth Quarter: In every one of the Kansas City’s games, Charles really hasn’t got it going until the final 15 minutes. Andy Reid hasn’t really committed the team to run the ball until they are ready to run out the clock. Eventually, the inability to run the ball during the bulk of the game is going to cost the Chiefs.
