Keys To The Game for the Chiefs:
- The Pass Rush: Eli Manning has a tendency to cough the ball up as indicated by his 8 interceptions so far this season in just three games. Look for the Chiefs to come at Manning hard. If they can’t get significant pressure on him, Manning can pick apart a defense. Hurry him, knock him around little, and he will make mistakes.
- Run The Football: Andy Reid hasn’t really shown any real desire to run the football. The Chiefs need t commit to running the football sooner than the fourth quarter. Kansas City has one of the most explosive running backs in the history of the game in Jamaal Charles. Give him a chance to break one. The longer lay off caused by the Thursday night game last week, should have given Charles time to get completely healthy. They need to run the football and lengthen some possessions.
- Dwayne Bowe: The Chiefs have got to find a way to get Dwayne Bowe more involved in the game plan. Hopefully, Donnie Avery‘s big performance against the Eagles last week will take some pressure off Bowe, and will help free him up more. Sean McGrath had a good last week to, so the emergence of other options will hopefully make defenses loosen up around Bowe. Alex Smith needs to look to Bowe more this week. Bowe is a big, physical receiver. Let him go get the ball.
