Ervin Santana Featured on MLB.com

We all knew Ervin Santana was magic, but apparently his home life is magical, too.

Santana was featured on MLB.com, where he discussed living in Kansas City, his career, and life in general. Watch this and you’ll question what the maximum amount of money you’d be okay with the Royals spending to re-sign him.

KC acquired him this offseason for minor leaguer Brandon Sisk, who has missed all of this season with Tommy John surgery. In his first season with the Royals, Santana has gone 9-9 with a 3.23 ERA in 197.2 inning pitched.

Santana is scheduled to pitch tonight to start a crucial three-game series against the Texas Rangers.

Note: The entire interview is in spanish, but there are subtitles so you should be okay. Also, this reminds me I need to learn spanish.

  1. Blake Molina says:

Really hope the Royals re-sign him, he doesn’t seem like a guy who would ask too much, and whatever deal is reached would be justified
