The Pregame: Andy Reid Returns to Philadelphia

Time: 7:25 p.m.

TV: NFL Network

Radio: 101.1 FM, KCFX

History: Eagles lead series, 4-2. Philly has won three-straight against KC. Last game was September 27, 2009, a 34-14 win for the Eagles at home. KC’s last win came September 27, 1998 at Philly. Chiefs scored 17 points – two Donnell Bennett touchdown runs, Pete Stoyanovich field goal – in the fourth quarter to win, 24-21.

Weather: 73-degrees. Clear skies.

1. Eric Berry

In terms of the passing portion of Philly’s offense, Berry is going to be key. Making tackles in space is going to have to be something KC does well on Thursday night.

2. Derrick Johnson

The Philly running game is going to have to be controlled by Johnson. LeSean McCoy has been a beast the first two weeks of the season, so slowing him down won’t be easy.

3. Dwayne Bowe

With the injuries at tight end, Bowe needs to have a big game if the Chiefs are going to get the road win.

Buffalo Sweat, an oatmeal cream stout, is the tailgating beer of the day. No reason aside from it being tasty.

1. Chip Kelly’s Offense

KC has two weeks of film on Kelly’s offense, but had a short week to prepare for it. Was that enough time?

2. DeSean Jackson

Jackson has had a huge first two weeks of the season in Kelly’s new offense. Brandon Flowers is going to have his hands full again.

3. Philadelphia Defense

Philly has allowed 27 points to the sluggish Redskins and 33 points to the Chargers in their first two games of the season. The Chiefs should be able to move the ball relatively well against the Eagles.
