Sometimes in fantasy football, if you have good depth at any position, you may have decisions to make on who to start and who to leave on the your bench. One of the best ways to make those decisions is based on match-ups.

While there are several players you should start regardless who they are playing, looking at match-ups may help you choose who start as your second or third running back, or which quarterback to play (if you don’t have one of the top guys). If you play with a flex position, seeing who your reserves play is the best way to determine who gets the start.

In fantasy football, no plan is foolproof. This system is not 100% accurate – no system is. The best you can do is to make as educated guess as possible, and hope you are right.

We are here to help you the best we can with some favorable, and unfavorable, match-ups in week one. Click “Next” to see our five players you should start or sit this week.
