KC Headlines: Royals Win, McLemore Gone?, Ryan Gosling Robs a Bank

Congrats to Louisville for winning the national title. At least the game was good.

Hey, how about Ervin Santana? After allowing a run in the first Santana cruised through eight innings to put the Royals in a position to score three runs in the bottom of the eighth to win their home opener 3-1. Aaron Crow looked great in a fill-in closer role after the bullpen had been spent over the weekend, and Alex Gordon had clutch hit. At 4-3 the Royals are officially over .500 – miracles do happen.

KU’s Ben McLemore will likely declare for the NBA draft today at 2:30.

This is going to be tough to fix. Smashed.

Terry Francona got lost on his way to Progressive Field yesterday. GPS.

Everyone’s a little bit racist. Sometimes.

An internet prank said Joel Osteen was leaving Christianity. Rapture.

Ryan Gosling admitted there were real consumers in the bank while they filmed a bank robbing scene in his newest movie. Terrifying.

Nebraska finally did something worthy of praise.
