KC Headlines: Yu Oughta Know, Get Away Day, Cano and Hova

ABOUT LAST NIGHT…

A lot people decided to get out of Dodge yesterday. On the Mizzou end of things, Dominique Bull and Negus Webster-Chan are each transferring from the men’s basketball program. Bull was not a very surprising decision but Webster-Chan was. The Tigers should still be fine at guard, especially if Phil Pressey returns.

Kansas State lost freshman Michael Orris to the transfer pool and Kansas guard Rio Adams will also be leaving.

We are fairly certain none of these players left because they were tired of having basketballs thrown at their heads.

In Chiefs news, Branden Albert announced he is looking for a long-term commitment from Kansas City. The Chiefs also brought in quarterback Geno Smith in for a personal workout.

ELSEWHERE AND EVERYWHERE…

Yu Darvish was one out away from a perfect game. Bummer.

Robinson Cano has left Scott Boras to be represented by Jay-Z. Hova.

Seth Myers might be Jimmy Fallon’s replacement for Late Night. Meh.

Airlines say pay-by-weight is the fairest way to fly. Travel-diet.

We have a Finding Nemo sequel on the way. Pixar’d.

ONE MORE THING…
