KC Headlines: Chiefs Stay Busy, Big 12 Basketball, George Brett vs. Bo Jackson, and Louis C.K.

Kansas State and Kansas will battle it out the afternoon for the Big 12 title. The Wildcats are looking for their first conference title since 1977, while Kansas is trying to extend their conference championship streak to nine.

The Missouri Tigers are looking to clinch a top four seed in the SEC tournament with a win over Tennessee. Beyond the SEC tournament, Missouri needs a win in order get themselves off of the 8/9 seed line in the NCAA tournament.

The Kansas City Chiefs signed cornerback Dunta Robinson last night to a three-year deal. We understand John Dorsey does not have any intention of taking a nap soon.

Pro Football Central says the Denver Broncos had a deal in place for Robinson before the Chiefs swooped in. If we could replace “Dunta Robinson” with “Peyton Manning” in that story I would be happier with the report.

George Brett thinks David Howard was a better athlete than Bo Jackson.

This is one of the craziest Kansas City related stories I have ever read.

Speaking of crazy, Kansas governor Sam Brownback’s budget director has offered to resign after making an error… a $2 BILLLION error. Whoops.

Claire McCaskill is taking the fight of being able to use electronics aboard planes during takeoff and landing to congress. Getting. Stuff. Done.

The Kansas City Museum is open for business again.

Bill Simmons says nobody was a winner the in the Richard Sherman/Skip Bayless debacle.

Chris Berman used to sell satin jackets.

I love Bret. One of my childhood idols. Really sad to see the senility kick in. Makes me feel old.
